Essential Network Services Key Personnel

Terry McGillivray, RCDD – President/Owner

Mr. McGillivray worked as a technician for six years, then as a estimator and project manager for three years before realizing the need for a company that could provide real world solutions and high quality technology installations that business’ was looking for. In 1995, Mr. McGillivray opened Essential Network Services. Today, Mr. McGillivray is “hands on” in all aspects of the business from sales, to design, to project implementation in a quest to keep in touch with our clients vital needs.

Jason King – Sales/Account Manager

Mr. King has been with Essential Network Services since 2008. Since joining the company, he has been responsible for the ongoing management and support of several accounts as well as continuing to seek out and develop relationships with new customers. While his day to day responsibilities are primarily related to sales and marketing functions, he is also an integral part of the Essential Network Services team when it comes to the “Design/Build” phase of a project.

Steve Benefield, RCDD – Design/Estimation

Mr. Benefield has 10+ years experience in the structure cabling industry where he has worked as a technician, Project Forman, Project Manager, estimator, and designer. Mr. Benefield received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and holds an RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) designer status with BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International). Today, Mr. Benefield enjoys assisting Essential Network Service’s clients with design solutions for their low voltage systems.

Tommy Cornelius – Operations Manager

Mr. Cornelius has 9+ years experience in the structure cabling industry where he has worked as a technician, Project Forman, estimator, and Project Manager. Today, Mr. Cornelius enjoys assisting Essential Network Service’s with facilitating project deployment and material procurement.
